Everything I design and work with has a very basic relationship with nature.  My work tends to be free-form, textural, organic and colorful!  It can be beautifully shaped and polished stones strung with sterling silver beads, tiny beads of glass formed from sand,  sewn into fanciful patterns and shapes, or maybe precious metal wire from ores mined from deep inside our world which I've woven into exquisite chainmaille.  I love the smooth, yet textured feel of exotic stones against my skin... the slightly nubbly texture of tightly sewn seed beads.  I also get a little shiver from the cool, slinky feel of perfectly crafted chainmaille on my neck or wrist.  These are the same feelings that I want you to have when you wear my jewelry... please come inside and find the one thing that gently calls your name...

TerraStones Custom Jewelry specializes in hand weaving chainmaille jewelry. This hand woven chainmaille jewelry uses old world chainmaille weaves created centuries ago, but the chainmaille weaves have been slightly modified so that precious metals such as Argentium sterling silver, gold filled and other metals can be used. In creating these custom chainmaille bracelets and necklaces, TerraStones only uses premium argentium sterling silver & precious metal rings which have been "saw-cut". Other chainmaille weavers use slopily cut rings which do not join to perfection. There are times when TerraStones Custom Jewelry incorporates chainmaille semiprecious beadwork jewelry into the bracelet designs.

These semiprecious stones are chosen so that every bracelet and necklace will be unique. The variety of semiprecious stones is too great to list, but within these pages you can see many variations. Argentium sterling silver is used in many of our chainmaille semiprecious beadwork designs.
